Louisville, KY. April 2012 – Companies all over Kentucky waited anxiously as they anticipated the announcement of the best places to work in Kentucky.
On April 20, the Kentucky Society for Human Resource Management and the Kentucky Chamber of Commerce released the list of the 2012 best places to work in Kentucky.
During the Eighth Annual Best Places to Work in Kentucky awards ceremony, presented by Fisher & Phillips LLP, nearly 1000 attendees joined in celebrating Genentech, MassMutual and 63 other Kentucky companies who were recognized for their commitment to encouraging companies in the Commonwealth to focus measure and move their workplace environments toward excellence.
Winners were selected from two categories – small/medium companies with 25-249 U.S. employees and large companies with 250 or more U.S. employees. The selection process is based on an assessment of the company’s employee policies and procedures and the results of an internal employee survey, administrated by Best Companies Group.
In addition to the awards ceremony, the Kentucky Chamber and Kentucky SHRM released The Best Places to Work in Kentucky magazine complete with a list of winners and advice from employment experts.
